Hey guys, week 1 of class 2 has come to an end. This week I got a chance to meet my awesome Mentor Nick Bruno. He currently works at Blue Sky's, and has worked on movies such as Ice Age II : The Melt Down and Horton Hears a Who!.
My first Q&A went great with him, even though he had a stomach bug and felt nauseous he still showed up. If that doesn't show how much of a great mentor he is, I don't know what would.
This weeks assignment was to film some video reference and start out planning for blocking next week. We had a list of assignment choices to chose from, I went with the "Gap Jump", And Jump a gap I did. There is a fairly large creek that runs behind my house which is where I filmed my self jumping across =D. I did almost fall in a couple times but unlucky for you guys I didn't haha.
Hopefully I'll don't get lazy like last term and I'll update this every week so stay tunned! Take care and Happy Animating!

Week 2 but really week 1!
Hey everyone, well week 1 we didn't have an assignment so week 2 is sorta like week 1 =D. For this assignment we had to go out in public and draw poses of people. I had fun going into Downtown Charlotte a local city and drawing everybody. At some moments I felt like a creeper drawing people since this was my first time ever doing something like this. But I eventually got over it Haha.
Then we had to pick our favorite pose and use STU to pose it out. The key is you want to submit your work as soon as possible so fellow students can give you feedback. It was an amazing week 2, I learned so much! Can't wait for week 3!

Maya Springboard!
Well I got into Maya springboard which is a program Animation mentor does to help students learn Maya. I have self taught myself 3D's Max but I haven't learned Maya yet. Can't wait to get started!
Well Maya springboard has ended and it was a blast! I meet so many new friends and got a head start for the fall term in learning the process of submitting work and giving feedback. See you all September 27th! Here is a reel from Springboard!
